ONLINE STRESS CALCULATION ELEVATING SAFETY IN GLASS TEMPERING
The Online Stress Calculation (OSC) solution estimates stress levels in glass during the tempering process. Based on accurate measurements, OSC calculates temperature and stress distribution. Integrated into the tempering line, the solution automates the conventional approaches, boosts safety and improves quality monitoring.
Knowing the stress level is important for monitoring the glass quality for safety. The OSC solution issues automatic alerts if any variations in the end product stress level are detected. In addition, glass processors can provide proof of the tempering quality for every glass processed, enhancing transparency and safety assurance for end customers.
Online Stress Calculation provides surface stress, middle-pane tension and estimated fragmentation for all processed glasses.
