Glass tempering
The only solution for a fully automatic tempering process. Tempering complexity is reduced to three operator inputs: glass type, thickness and process mode. The system takes over from there, delivering consistent, predictable output every cycle with minimal training and full scalability across production volumes.
Read moreFrom intelligent batch planning to fully automated loading, this solution maximizes furnace utilization and keeps production flowing. The Batch Optimizer calculates the most efficient loading patterns by combining glass sizes and orders, while Automatic Loading executes the sequences with precision, eliminating missed loadings, reducing manual handling and improving safety.
Read moreThe only online solution that tells operators, in real time, whether every pane off the line is properly tempered. Using live process data, OSC™ calculates surface stress and middle pane tension for both clear and Low-E glass and provides an accurate fragmentation estimate. Operators set their own stress standards once; OSC™ enforces them automatically on every unit produced, avoiding over-tempering and supporting lower energy consumption across the line.

The result is clearer, more visually consistent glass, ideal for architectural and premium design applications where visual appearance is critical.

Glass lamination
The world’s fastest mixed production laminating line, with the lowest energy consumption and highest yield. The line delivers consistent, high-quality output across the widest product mix, from single-sheet laminates to complex multi-interlayer constructions, with low energy consumption and a high degree of automation.
Automatic trimming of all four edges of every laminate sandwich and automatic transfer of the sandwich to the furnace. Waste foil is handled by a dedicated conveyor, and the sandwich is transferred to the furnace automatically; no manual handling required – and no material waste from missed cuts.
Patented technology that processes complex laminates, including multilayer SentryGlas®, fully automatically, at the same capacity and yield as standard PVB laminates. It is a combined hardware and software solution that creates precise, customizable temperature profiles for even the most demanding laminate constructions. Upgradable to existing Glaston ProL furnaces.
The world’s first glass laminating up to 100 mm thickness in a single run without a recipe on display at glasstec.
INSULATING GLASS MANUFACTURING
Automatic manufacturing of thin triple and thin quadruple IGUs with center panes as thin as 0.5 mm – a world first in production-line glass processing. Thin triple IGUs offer up to 20% higher insulation with the same thickness and weight compared to traditional double IGUs. The universal line configuration allows processors to manufacture both traditional TPS® IGU and thin TPS® IGU, as well as mixed operation on a single line.
Read moreA specially designed and patented follower plate optimizes material flow, delivering up to 35% output improvement. Automatic IGU thickness adjustment compensates for variations in glass tolerances, and the market’s shortest corner-bevel joint meets the most demanding quality standards. The TPS® PRO’APPLICATOR handles double, triple and quadruple IGUs across the full nozzle range for spacer widths between 6 and 27 mm, as well as multilayer applications up to 36 mm, from residential units to fire-resistant and façade elements.
Read moreThe only fully automated solution for muntin bar positioning in TPS® IGU, including an optional cobot extension for automatic feeding the machine with muntin bars. MUNTIN’MASTER places muntin bars with precision and repeatability that manual handling cannot match. The Cobot extension takes automation further, automatically feeding the machine with muntin bars and eliminating the last manual touchpoint in the process, delivering stable, repeatable quality across every unit and full compatibility with both EU and US muntin bar specifications.

Industry-leading pre-processing and bending technology for OEM and ARG processors, mastering the most complex windshield shapes and curved sunroofs modern vehicles demand. Drawing on over 50 years of bending expertise, it combines active convection preheating and groove-fitted heaters for higher efficiency, improved optical quality and shorter bending cycles.
Convection heating ensures temperature rises uniformly across the entire glass surface – clear, printed or coated. This results in improved optical quality and a shorter bending cycle.
Modular architecture lets processors add convection preheating, bending, cooling or press sections as volume grows. Installation on floor rails keeps capacity upgrades and maintenance straightforward.
Tailored, modular cutting and grinding solution that adapts its layout to the customer’s plant, not the other way around. Direct-drive cutting and a single-step cut-to-grind process deliver a grinding allowance as small as 0.3 mm, at very high speed.
Vibration-free polar grinder with a mineral body cast absorbs vibration for consistent edge quality. Rapid job changes are enabled by automatic glass centering on shape change, a 2D scanner for fully automatic z-correction, template-less breaking and complete production programs loaded via a single file upload.
The solution modernizes former Bystronic glass processing machines by replacing outdated control systems while retaining the existing mechanical setup. The upgrade improves reliability, performance and spare part availability, extending machine life with lower investment, minimal downtime and reduced environmental impact.
